You Signed Up for a Creative Agency. Now What?
From Day 1 to first delivery — exactly what happens.

Quick Summary
Most founders come to Pipedream Studio after a freelancer ghosted, an agency took weeks to send a proposal, or an in-house hire was buried in too many things. This is the honest, step-by-step answer to what happens after you subscribe: a Day 1 contract via PandaDoc, a kickoff call with your dedicated team, fixed turnarounds (24h content, 48h design, 72h video, 3–5 weeks for brand identity), unlimited revisions, and one project at a time so every brief gets full attention.
Most founders who come to us have tried at least one of the following: a freelancer who disappeared mid-project, an agency that took three weeks just to send a proposal, or an in-house hire who was great at one thing but drowning in five others.
By the time they find Pipedream Studio, they're not really asking "can you do the work?" They're asking something more fundamental.
What actually happens after I sign up?
It's a fair question. Subscription-based creative services are still a relatively new model, and the internet is full of vague agency pages that talk about "partnership" without ever explaining what Tuesday looks like. This is the honest, detailed answer to that question.

Day 1: The Contract + Subscription Invoice Lands in Your Inbox
Within 24 hours of confirming your subscription, you receive a contract via PandaDoc. It covers scope, deliverable types, turnaround expectations, revision policy, and terms. There's no ambiguity baked in and no buried clauses designed to upsell you later.
You read it. You sign it.
Then comes the subscription fee and a payment link to go with it. Upon completion of your payment, you're redirected to a calendar link to schedule a call with your "dream team".
That's Day 1 done.
The Kickoff Call: This Is Where It Actually Begins

Before a single pixel gets moved or a word gets written, we talk. The kickoff call is not a formality. It's the most important meeting you'll have with us, and it only happens once — because we intend to get it right the first time.
On the call, you'll meet your dedicated team. You'll tell us about your business, your brand, the gaps you're trying to close, and what good looks like to you. We ask questions. We listen more than we talk. By the end of it, we know enough to move without checking in every five minutes.
This is also where you share your first brief. It doesn't need to be a 20-page deck. A clear description of what you need and why is enough to get started.
How the Work Actually Flows

You receive access to a client portal. This is where you create projects and assign tasks to the team.
We work on one project at a time. That's intentional. It means every brief you send gets our full attention, not half of it while something else is in the queue. Once a project is briefed and active, turnaround times are fixed:
| Service | Standard Turnaround |
|---|---|
| Content & Copywriting | 24 hours |
| Graphic Design | 48 hours |
| Video & Motion | 72 hours |
| Brand Identity | 3–5 weeks |
These are not aspirational timelines. They are the standard. If something genuinely requires more time — a complex brand system, a multi-scene video — we tell you upfront, before the clock starts.
Revisions: Unlimited, With One Honest Caveat

Most agencies give you two or three revision rounds. After that, you're paying extra. That model made sense when agencies billed by the hour. It doesn't make sense when you're on a flat-rate subscription.
At Pipedream, revisions are unlimited. You iterate until it's right. The only distinction we draw is this: a revision is a change or refinement to the existing work. A complete strategic or creative overhaul — a full rewrite, a total visual pivot — that's a new project, and it gets treated like one. It's a reasonable line, and most clients never come close to it.
The practical effect is that you're never in a position where you're holding back feedback because you're worried about the bill. That changes how the work gets done.
The Month-to-Month Reality

Here's what a typical month looks like for a founder using Pipedream for brand and content work (depending on the subscription you've chosen):
You brief us on your project. We deliver in 72 hours. You request a revision on the SFX/VFX. We update the same day. Approved.
You need a pitch deck. Brief goes in. First draft comes back in 48 hours. Final revisions done. You're presenting by the end of the week.
Three thought-leadership posts for LinkedIn. Brief goes in Monday noon. Content lands Tuesday evening. You review Wednesday. Live Thursday.
That's three different deliverables in three weeks, on a flat monthly rate, with one team who knows your brand cold. No briefing new freelancers. No waiting for an agency to "circle back." No invoices you didn't expect.
Is This Right for Every Startup?

Probably not. If you need one logo and nothing else for the next two years, a one-time freelance project makes more sense. We're built for founders who have ongoing creative needs — brands that are growing, messaging that needs to evolve, content that needs to show up consistently.
If that's you, the model works. The process is tight, the team is dedicated, and the output starts fast.
